Take the RN 13 from Cherbourg towards Valognes, sign posted Caen. Travel about 8km (5m) then bear right onto the D 56, signposted Delasse , Brix, St. Martin le Greard. At the first cross roads, turn right onto the D 56, signposted Brix, St. Martin le Gréard. After a few kilometres and at the first crossing called “Au beau parlé”, turn left onto the D 50 to Brix. Continue through the village of Brix (D 50). After passing the church and the Town Hall (Mairie) on your left, take the first road which bears right just as you leave the village. You will pass the “Cabinet Medical” and the “Pharmacie” on your left. Keep following this narrow road which winds to the right and left and passes through the small hamlet “Le Val”. After the last house with a wavy roof, you will see our sign “Château le Val”, “Propriete Privee Le Val” on the right under some trees. Turn right here into the avenue and drive down to Château le Val (at the end of the avenue on the left hand side).

Should you travel north from Valognes towards Cherbourg on the RN 13, about 6 miles from Valognes take the exit for Brix, Rufosses, Sottevast D 119. Follow the road right to cross back over the dual-carriageway then turn left for Brix at the halt sign. Follow directions to the village of Brix, and then refer to the details outlined above.

Don't type in St Jouvin for your GPS system as it would lead you to the village St Jouvin, close by but not the road you need. So just follow the instructions as mentioned above.
