The Chateau le Val is much more beautiful and impressive than its pictures in the ads. It is spotlessly clean and well supplied with all the necessities. The grounds are beautiful and are meticulously cared for. We were a group of twelve and rented the whole Chateau for a week in May 2008. All members of our party agreed that the Chateau is a perfect home base to explore all Normandy has to offer. Karin recommended several nearby restaurants that were excellent and made resevations for us. I would highly recommend the Chateau le Val.

What an exceptional property. From the moment we arrived we knew we'd chosen the right place. Coats of armour, medieval decorations and atmospheric candles made it feel as though we'd stepped back in time. The children loved it and really enjoyed their freedom to play in the safe surroundings. The Chateau is well placed on the Cherbourg peninsula to take advantage of the Normandy beaches, Mont St. Michel and the fantastic scenery the area has to offer. Our group, made up of 4 families with 8 adults and 11 children, had never been away as a group before and were a little worried about how we would all get on. No problems at the Chateau with the layout providing excellent communal and private areas. I would recommend the Chateau to anybody who wants a relaxing holiday with that little something extra the medieval atmosphere provides thrown in.

Hello, I want to say thank you for such a wonderful summer. Everyone said that I seemed like a different person when I got back and indeed I did feel 100% better than at the end of last term. I hope it doesn't wear off too quickly! Everything was just perfect, including the weather.

Thank you once again for making our stay at Chateau Le Val so enjoyable last week. We had a truly wonderful trip and having such wonderful hosts as yourselves made it even more pleasurable!
